After successfully auditioning with us, you will need to inform the the head of school to inform them of our flexi-schooling initiative, and get this approved. We have a template letter available upon request, explaining that this programme is designed to work alongside academic schooling for students who wish to excel in the performing arts and pursue full-time vocational training in the future.

Ballet and Jazz are core subjects that run every week. We offer on a rotational basis - Lyrical, Contemporary, Commercial/Street, Tap, Acro, Horton Technique and more.

Who can audition?

We audition dancers aged 8–17 who show passion, potential, and commitment to developing their talent. We look for natural ability and enthusiasm, and welcome those aiming for a future in the performing arts or full-time vocational training.

Yes! Anyone can come to view the school to look at our premises. Email jess@vds-school.co.uk if you would like to arrange this.

Do students earn certifications?

We offer IDTA and Acrobatic Arts examinations every year and are assessed individually. We consider each student’s readiness, previous exam experience, and the level the class is working toward before entering them for an exam. These exams are not compulsory.
